En 1972, l'album "De Rode Ridder - De Toverspiegel" est sorti. Dans cette BD Karel Biddeloo a présenté Johan à Galaxa, la fée de la lumière. Depuis, elle est apparue dans 23 albums. Cinquante ans plus tard, Standaard Uitgeverij lance Galaxa, un spin-off dans lequel elle tient le rôle principal et dans lequel on en apprend plus sur son histoire.
