Résumé: The story so far : Kevin Matchstick is the Pendragon, one of the select group of legendary heroes from the past; all of whose spirits have been reborn into the present to combat the impending next age of darkness. Wielding the mighty weapon excalibut, recast now in the form of a thundering baseball bat, Kevin confronts supernatural dangers with the aid of his companions: Joe Phat--the Coyote/Trickster and Kirby Hero--the Olympian. But their goal is elusive, a trek fraught with monstous "Nasties", recurring confusions and personnal loss as Kevin is also pestered and pursued by an addled old man, Wally Ut, who claims to be the Pendragon's second Mage, the sorcerous guide for his heroic journey. After consulting with the witch, Isis, the three friends partake of a magical mojo--an herbal potion that induces them all to experience a common vision, a trip to the mystical faerie realms. Embattled and desperate, Kevin and company agree that the path of their mythical quest lies somwhere far to the north.
