- Résumé: Painted on the fuselage of Otto Koll’s Messerschmitt fighter were many RAF roundels, the number of Spitfires and Hurricanes he had shot down. He was a master-flyer. He reigned supreme. But there’s a lot of truth in the old saying, “The bigger they are, the harder they fall.” All the RAF needed was something impossible…a pilot who could out-fly and out-fight Germany’s best! A British electronics scientist, named Dr Denton, had been improving a new radar system and the Germans want the secrets. The Gestapo found out that RAF Squadron Leader Andy Denton, a Spitfire ace is the scientist’s son, so they ordered the Luftwaffe ace, Colonel Otto Koll to challenge Andy in an ace against ace duel in the skies. What Otto did not know was that he had been tricked by the Gestapo and during the duel, the lone Spitfire was shot down by a swam of Messerschmitt BF109s. Andy was taken prisoner and believed Otto cheated. The Gestapo drugged Andy and hypnotised him into escaping with Otto‘s help (and Otto was once again being tricked by the Gestapo), return to England, see his father, steal the technology, and try to return to Germany to hand over the secrets. Once Andy was snapped out of his hypnotised mind, he was told the truth, and later Otto was threw into the cell with Andy. Together Andy and Otto managed to escaped and were on a mission to fix the problem once and for all.
